About
The October festival from Fiesta Elegante (organisers of the Berlin Salsa Festival in spring). Held at Embassade Berlin at Alexanderplatz, two connected halls of ~400 m2 each. Workshops paired with theory on music, culture and history; programme runs across Cuban styles from son and Afro-Cuban roots to salsa, timba, reggaeton and fusion. Social parties framed as part of the learning, with dancers from many countries.
