About
Small residential weekend at Hotel Don Angel on the Catalan coast, organised by the association Suena Cubano. Son is the point: 18 workshops, all Cuban (son cubano, rueda de son, casino, timba a contratiempo, Yoruba dances, conga, rumba guaguancó, lady style son, danzón, cha cha chá) in three rooms named after Benny Moré, Arsenio Rodríguez and Ignacio Piñeiro, about half taught with live musicians. Friday welcome cocktail and show, Saturday 'noche elegante' with a midnight concert, DJs until 3-4 AM. Meals included, everyone in the same hotel.
