About
Deliberately small, capped Cuban festival run by the LE Shkrobtak school (17 years in the scene, also runs bachata editions of NOT FEST). Half the programme is rumba and afro: afro sessions separate Yoruba, Palo, Arará and Abakuá; rumba covers guaguancó, yambú and columbia separately. Lecture on how Cuban salsa is danced in Cuba today. 13 hours of workshops, 3 parties, ladies bootcamp ending in a slot at the Saturday gala, video zone, closing tea and conversation. Telegram points game with merch and discounts. Ukrainian airspace closed; dancers arrive overland by train or bus from Krakow or Lviv.
